Supportive Housing Services

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), Ministry of Social Services, through the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the delivery of supportive housing and property management services as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A).

Additional Information

The SHC has purchased the Lighthouse towers in Saskatoon, and over the next two (2) years, intends to transition current residents to subsidized or supportive housing in the community. SHC and GOS are seeking a five (5) year Agreement, where the Successful Supplier(s) will engage in a service Agreement to maintain the below prescribed service requirements focused on services pre and post transition.

• Pre-transition services will provide a mixture of landlord and supportive services for approximately 120 individuals currently located at 20th Street and 2nd Avenue in Saskatoon for a maximum period of up to two (2) years. Successful Supplier(s) are expected to support clients through the transition and are encouraged to begin transitioning clients to alternative locations as soon as possible; and
• Post-transition services will provide supportive housing for up to 60 individuals in to-be-determined locations, within the City of Saskatoon, for three (3) years thereafter.
