Levage, manutention et transport des chalets et des roulottes de la patinoire du canal Rideau

Description:

Each year, seven (7) Skateway chalets, two (2) service trailers and one (1) electrical kiosk need to be craned in/out of the Rideau Canal. The chalets and trailers are installed at four locations on permanent, or nonpermanent pillars along the Skateway.

The NCC is, looking for a proponent for the coordination of a “turnkey” service for the craning (using a crane with appropriate reach radius and weight capacity), the handling (from cribbing at warehouse to pillars on the canal) and the transportation to and from our Woodroffe warehouse to its final position.

To be considered, your proposal must be received no later than 3 p.m. EDT on September 2, 2021 (extended via addendum 1) by email at Bids-soumissions@ncc-ccn.ca with a reference to tender file #MA037.

Note: The bid email has a maximum capacity of 30 megabytes.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

There is no public opening scheduled.

Interested proponents must not contact any other employee of the NCC, or other persons involved in this solicitation to discuss any questions. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proponent.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Contracting Authority no later than 10 calendar days before the closing date and time in order to be considered by the NCC. Throughout the invitation process, the NCC shall endeavour to provide responses to inquiries (by the issuance of addenda) deemed relevant by the NCC and received in writing by the Contracting Authority. Only information provided in addenda shall be an integral part of the ITT and any resulting contract. All addenda will be posted on buyandsell.gc.ca.
