Engineering Services for Geotechnical Investigations and Materials Testing

The Town of Halton Hills requires the services of a certified agency for completion of on-site geotechnical investigations for various locations for construction, reconstruction, or resurfacing contained within the capital forecast. A written report is to be prepared for each location investigated for the use in the preparation of detailed design for future capital works.

The Consultant will also provide laboratory/field material testing services on various capital reconstruction and resurfacing projects throughout the Town of Halton Hills.  The sampling of materials for the sites will be required at pits and quarries as well as on specific construction sites. 

The intent is to award this contract to one (1) Consultant capable of completing both geotechnical investigations and material testing.

Please be advised that the Town of Halton Hills has recently transitioned to a two-envelope system for our RFP process, comprising a Technical Proposal and a Financial Proposal. In line with our commitment to fair and transparent Procurement practice, we request that all Proponent refrain from disclosing any pricing information in their Technical Proposal. Any mention of pricing within the Technical Proposal may lead to the disqualification of the Proponent's submission.
