NSCC seeks to develop a Global Wind Organization (GWO) Training Center for the Wind Turbine Program at the NSCC Strait Area Campus, Port Hawkesbury. The proposed solution will provide enable NSCC to become self-sufficient in the delivery of the GWO Basic Safety Training and Advanced Rescue Training training modules, These modules will be ready for delivery programs to NSCC students in the Wind Turbine Technician Program that is under development and the workforce in general. The successful proponent will provide a full turnkey solution that includes provision of all required expertise, facility design, equipment and infrastructure procurement and installation, systems, instructor development, approval applications, audit support, curriculum and course materials to setup a compliant training facility and obtain the desired accreditation in the shortest and most cost-effective manner.
