Waste Collection Truck 60/40 Split

The Municipality of the District of Guysborough is seeking proposals for the provision of one (1) only 29-32 cubic yard, 2 stream waste (60/40 split) collection truck, 60% must be on left side. Any and all makes and models of new waste collection vehicles of a similar size and capabilities will be considered. The proposal must include complete specifications for the proposed waste collection trucks and a standard & 5-year warranty package. Any and all other benefit packages related to the maintenance, operations or future replacement of the vehicles will be considered. A proposal package, including minimum requirements of the proposed truck and required submission forms, are available from the undersigned. All prices provided in the Proposal must be in Canadian dollars and include delivery to the purchaser. The selection process for the purchase of the truck and two (2) stream packer will consider the following: 5 year cost analysis, overall suitability of the trucks for the waste collection program, availability, purchase price, warranty available, parts and service, etc. The Municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals. Sealed proposals clearly marked “Proposal – Waste Collection Truck” shall be submitted to the undersigned on or before Wednesday, March 15th at 2 p.m, to “tenders@modg.ca or to the undersigned.
