Regulatory Process Roadmap - Mining Operations in Nova Scotia

Invest Nova Scotia is seeking a bidder to investigate and prepare a Regulatory Process Roadmap that will aid public and private stakeholders in the understanding of all the regulatory requirements for mining operations in Nova Scotia. The roadmap will capture all stages from mineral exploration to end of life/reclamation of mine site and include regulatory requirements administered by all federal, provincial and municipal bodies. Deliverables will include a report outlining the requirements for each permit, license, and/or approval, a graphic, and a public presentation, with an option to include a jurisdictional comparison depending on budget/timing. Deliverables must be completed by January 17, 2025.
