RFI - Home Oxygen Services - Service Providers

This Request for Information (the 'RFI') is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the 'Province') to prospective respondents to submit a response to the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care (SLTC), for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the analysis and planning of potential future procurement activities. This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. SLTC is committed to ensuring continued support for existing and future Home Oxygen Services clients. The intent of this RFI process is to gain insight on the capacity of the current Service Providers and other home oxygen service providers to deliver these services in each of the nine (9) former District Health Authorities ('DHA') Geographic Areas set out in Appendix B, in accordance with SLTC’s Home Oxygen Services Policy, the Home Oxygen Service Procedures and Guidelines , and applicable legislation including but not limited to the Personal Health Information Act ('PHIA') (https://novascotia.ca/dhw/phia/PHIA-legislation.asp) and Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ('PIPEDA') (https://novascotia.ca/dhw/phia/documents/chapters/2.%20PHIA%20and%20PIPEDA.pdf).
