Description
Dalhousie University is seeking a modern and efficient cloud-based eProcurement / Procure to Pay ("P2P') solution encompassing the full scope of Procure to Pay services from Procurement to Accounts Payable. This solution will be a key driver of transforming our end to end Procure to Pay processes and must be intuitive and user friendly while offering robust functionality to handle the diverse buying needs of the institution. Dalhousie has a decentralized operating model with Faculties and administrative units supported by a central procurement and accounts payable department (now Procure to Pay Services) that assists with the acquisition of goods and services and facilitating vendor payments. Dalhousie’s ERP that supports the current procurement and accounts payable processes is Ellucian’s Banner solution (Finance Module), however, many of the supporting processes are manual and most communication and approvals occur via email.
