D9.1 The Scope of Work of this RFP generally consist of consulting engineering preliminary design, detailed design and contract administration services to facilitate the rehabilitation / replacement
of the Underdrain Outfalls and the Branch 1 Aqueduct Underdrain pipe at Rue Plinguet, Avenue
Tache and Rue Notre Dame.
D9.2 The Services required under this Contract shall consist of the following phases and as outlined in
D10 to D16 in accordance with the following:
(a) Project Management in accordance with D10;
(b) Preliminary Design in accordance with D11;
(c) Detailed Design in accordance with D12;
(d) Non-Resident Contract Administration Services in accordance with D13;
(e) Resident Contract Administration Services in accordance with D14;
(f) Record Drawings in accordance with D15; and
(g) Post Construction Services in accordance with D16.
D9.3 Unless otherwise stated, Appendix A – Definition of Professional Consultant Services
(Consulting Engineering Services) shall be applicable to the provision of Professional Engineering
services for this Project. These services are specific to design and contract administration
services.
(a) If a discrepancy occurs between the main body of this RFP and Appendix A, the main body of
this RFP shall govern.
D9.4 The Services required in the Contract shall be in accordance with the City’s Project
Management Manual http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management-program/templates-
manuals.stm#2 and templates http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management-
program/templates-manuals.stm#4 . Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consultant is being engaged by
the City for their professional expertise; the Consultant shall bring to the Consulting Contract
Administrator’s attention any aspect of the City’s Project Management Manual or templates which the
Consultant is of the opinion is not consistent with good industry practice.
D9.5 The funds available for this Contract are $850,000.00.
