Description
The Ministry of Attorney General is seeking a qualified contractor to work with community organizations representing diverse ethno-cultural and racialized communities within British Columbia (B.C.) to co-design and lead public engagement beginning in the Summer of 2023 that will inform legislation, policy and programming related to the Anti-Racism Legislation that will address systemic racism in government programs and services.
The Summer and Fall 2023 engagement will build on and be informed by the Province’s engagement that took place for the Anti-Racism Data Act in late 2021 and early 2022.
Through a separate application process beginning in May 2023, the Ministry plans to also award grant funding to multiple community organizations representing diverse ethno-cultural, racialized and faith-based communities to lead engagement initiatives to help inform the Anti-Racism Legislation.
Beginning in June 2023, the community consultations will include the preferred approaches of ethnocultural organizations selected by the Province in order to capture feedback on a number of topics related to racism and discrimination in British Columbia.
Key deliverables of the Contract will be:

- Develop an anti-racist engagement strategy for and with multiple community
organizations representing diverse ethno-cultural and racialized communities to
elicit input on topics related to the Province’s anti-racism priorities. - Oversee and provide coordination for engagement activities with the identified
community organizations selected by the Province. - Consolidate all community report-outs from engagement sessions into a final report for the Province, including details on attendees, number of sessions hosted, ethno-cultural and racialized communities represented by geographic community and region, and key themes and recommendations.
Durée du contrat
La durée estimée du contrat sera de 9 mois.
