Public Library Website & Content Management System

The District of North Vancouver (“District”), on behalf of the North Vancouver District Public Library (“NVDPL”) is requesting proposals from library solutions providers to provide an all-in-one content management system (CMS) and website builder that will enable NVDPL to meet their strategic objectives online: connect their community, inspire opportunities and ideas, and invite sharing.
Using your solution, NVDPL must be able to provide and maintain a website that is modern, visually appealing, and provides the same core features that their existing site does (catalogue integration, events management, and patron engagement). The site must also be fully accessible, meet industry accepted best practice standards for user experience and interface design, and integrate with the library’s services and tools.
In addition, the CMS must be robust, flexible, and easy for non-technical staff to create and publish content, develop new page templates and content types, and manage workflows.
Experienced organizations who have recent, relevant experience providing proven integrated CMS and website builder solutions to organizations of a similar size and nature – and who can satisfy the detailed requirements that follow – are invited to submit a Proposal.
