NOI24-238 - Nelson Canyon Bridge - Seismic Retrofit

Notice is hereby given by the District of West Vancouver of its intent to contract with ISL Engineering to produce detailed design drawings and specifications for a seismic retrofit of the Nelson Canyon Bridge.  The value of the contract under consideration is under $250,000.  This follows consideration of various replacement/retrofit options and feasibility studies produced by multiple engineering firms over a five-year period.  Following successful completion of the design in 2024, and subject to budget approval by Council, the District intends to conduct a public tender for the required construction work in 2025.

Vendors wishing to raise an objection to this decision should email an official letter of objection presenting specific reasons by noon, local time, June 12, 2024.
