Mandatory Site Visit
Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:
Date: 5 May 2023
Time: 12 PM
Location of Site Meeting: 34000 Blackwater Rd, Prince George, BC.
Subcontractor Attendance is Optional.
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
BC Housing is seeking a general contractor to perform renovation work at Baldy Hughes Therapeutic Community & Farm. The work includes three parts to be performed simultaneously and briefly described as follows:
1. Administration Building: Renovate and finish the old kitchen area into a Multi-purpose room and Office, including new windows, siding, new mezzanine, kitchen and a permanent corridor to the existing server.
2. Administration Building: Supplying and installing Air Conditioning to the existing Dining Room.
3. Auditorium Building: Supply and install cement board siding and soffit to unfinished walls and eaves.
Please refer to the attached Appendix E for a Drawings and Specifications. The estimated construction timeline is 3 months. General contractor to mobilize within 7 days after award and signed contract.
