Description
The components of the work are generally described as follows:
· Mobilization and demobilization to and from the Project Site, Layout and post construction
markups to drawings, environmental management
· Demolition, disposal of existing Change Buildings including restoration of disturbed area/s
· Removal of existing pit toilets and all associated underground infrastructure
· Removal of existing furniture
· Removal of a hazard tree
· Brushing clearing and grubbing of existing trail network and common areas around picnic tables
· Restoration of disturbed areas from clearing, grubbing and grading work
· Ditching as shown on Contract Drawings
· Site Directed grading work for furnished areas
· Extension/s of parking area (approx. 1,060 sq.m) with surface treatment as shown in Contract
Drawings (gravel / hot-mix asphalt)
· Restoration of disturbed areas from clearing, grubbing and grading work
· Installation of new site furniture including:
o 4x new owner supplied Panabode Toilets and concrete Vault/lids.
o 14 new owner supplied picnic tables w/ BBQ stands
o 3x owner supplied Type 3 Information Shelters
o 7x owner suppled Waste/recycle receptables
· Fencing, traffic control and signage including:
o 3x owner supplied traffic control gates
o 4x owner supplied removable traffic stub posts
o 730m of range fencing (Contractor supply and installation)
o 5x timber sign posts (Contractor supply and installation, Owner supplied signage)
o Installation of Owner supplied precast parking curbs
· Dock modifications including supply and installation of handrails to existing gangway,
construction of new kickboards to the existing dock frames and construction of a entry deck to
the dock.
05FEB24: Amendment #2; Includes small scope changes, Q&A & modification of closing date. Contains Tender Offer Form R_01 - which must be used for bidding. DO NOT USE Original Tender Offer Form embedded within ITT documents for bid.
21FEB24: Amendment #3 added. Amends the opportunity closing date, amends the construction start date & additional Q & A.
24FEB24: Notice of Tender Cancellation - regretfully we need to cancel this tender at this time, due to issues with permitting required to do the work. The project team will work to resolve the issues, and get the required permits issued in time for fall construction. This tender will be reposted when that is a certainty. The tender will be removed from BC Bid shortly.
