Description
The Ministry of Forests invites proponents that are qualified and experienced in Fuel Management Prescription Development and field layout to submit a proposal for the Finmore A Fuel Management Prescription development project. The prescription development will help achieve the targets and objectives of the Crown Land Wildfire Risk Reduction program, improving forest stand wildfire resiliency for community protection, maintaining access and egress, increasing first responder suppression effort success, while protecting and enhancing other land-based values. The successful proponent will develop and submit a site-level fuel management prescription for identified Crown Land areas following the Ministry's Fuel Management Prescription Guidance, Template, and other Tools for Fuel Management located on the BC Wildfire Service Tools for Fuel Management website.
The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a consultant with the intent to enter a contract to provide the services described in the attached draft Operational Services Contract.
Respondents to this RFP and their employees are expected to have the necessary experience, resources, and capacity to undertake such a project.
All submissions become the property of the Ministry and will not be returned.
