Description
The Province is undertaking a building rehabilitation project at the facility – Robson Square, located in Vancouver.
The purposes of this project is to pre-order / purchase replacement boiler(s), for a future project installation. Detailed installation drawings, mechanical and electrical scope will be provided under a separate contract package when completed by the design team.
The scope under this Invitation To Quote (ITQ) covers only the pre-order and pre-purchase boiler(s) of the noted boiler systems.
Real Property Division (RPD) is a division within the Ministry of Citizens’ Services (CITZ) which provides everything needed to design, set up and manage a government workplace. This includes management of the Province's diverse real estate portfolio of leased and government owned properties throughout the Province; office space inventory; furniture procurement; project and construction management; and real estate services for special purpose facilities (such as courthouses, laboratories or correctional facilities).
Workplace Development Services (WDS) is a Branch within the Real Property Division providing expert advisory services in project delivery and oversight, building technology advisory services and strategic facilities planning.
WDS is staffed by architects, engineers, project management and technical specialists, as well as professional Building Technology Advisors (BTA’s) in the following disciplines: architectural, mechanical, electrical, and security.
Working with a cross-functional team - focusing on maintaining and enhancing the functionality and value of the Province’s real estate portfolio - WDS provides services on various project types in government owned and leased buildings, ranging in size and value, in the following categories: Priority capital (new construction, additions, and major renovations); Routine maintenance and rehabilitation, as well as upgrades and renovations (including major building system life-cycle upgrades and energy/carbon efficient facilities); and Accommodation management (tenant improvements). Projects types include courthouses, correctional facilities, multi-tenanted offices, and specialty facilities
