3392 - Artificial Turf Fields - Harewood Centennial Park and Beban Second Artificial Turf Field

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”), as may be amended from time to time by Addenda is an invitation from the City of Nanaimo who is seeking Proposals from valid FIFA Licensee manufacturers and their authorized installers of synthetic turf for the following scope of work:

• Harewood Centennial Park – two (2) new multi-use synthetic turf fields including shock pad.  The approximate sizes of each field are 8,200 sq.m. (east field) and 7,700 sq.m. (west field).

 

• Beban Park Second Artificial Turf Field (SAFT) – removal and replacement of the existing multi-use synthetic turf field with a surface area of approximately 8,250 sq.m. Note that the existing shock pad at SATF is to remain, and the existing crumb rubber/sand infill is to be re-used as feasible.

 Refer to the Drawings, Performance Specifications and Warranty for additional detailed requirements.

Non-Mandatory meeting on May 18, 2023 - 10:30 to 11:30. The meeting will start at Beban Second Artificial Turf Field located at 2253 Dorman Road, Nanaimo, BC and move to Harewood Centennial Park located at 740 Howard Ave., Nanaimo, BC. Please dress for the weather. The Successful Proponent will be required to enter into a CCDC 2 (2020) Contract should negotiations prove successful. This Negotiated Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19.
