SS25-CM-01 Electric Forklifts

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to establish a standard for electric forklifts that meet the specifications defined in Appendix C – Proposal Form for the Vancouver Convention Centre (“VCC”) and BC Place Stadium (“BC Place”) venues. PavCo intends to select a preferred Proponent to enter into Contract (see Appendix A) to provide the electric forklift on an as, if and when requested basis. PavCo intends to switch the VCC and BC Place’s propane forklifts to electric.

PavCo requires the Contractor to have the following attributes/characteristics: a) Be able to deliver parts and/or service vehicles in Lower Mainland within 48 hours of notice; b) Five (5) or more years of experience in supplying and servicing similar forklifts; and c) Be able to provide a designated account manager for PavCo to contact. After the Contract has been awarded, PavCo intends to immediately purchase the electric forklifts for the Vancouver Convention Centre and BC Place that meet all the mandatory requirements and some or all of the ideal requirements specified in Appendix C – Proposal Form. The electric forklifts for Phase 1 must be ready and fully operational for use by PavCo no later than July 2025 , unless agreed to otherwise by PavCo.
