REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 1070-2425/075
Development Consultant Services, 2570 Bartley Road, West Kelowna, BC
The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals to provide BC Housing with Development Consultant Services (the “Deliverables”) for the supportive housing construction project located at 2570 Bartley Road, West Kelowna, BC.
Through this RFP process, BC Housing is seeking to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) with an experienced, qualified supplier (the “Supplier”) to provide the Deliverables
Key Elements of the Deliverables
The Successful Proponent will deliver Development Consultant (DC) Services for the supportive housing construction project located at to be located at 2570 Bartley Road, West Kelowna, BC as identified in Appendix 9 (Project Description and Requirements).
The Deliverables will include project delivery outcomes and roles and responsibilities described in Appendix 8 (Contract) including the Schedule A – Services Matrix, Appendix 9 (Project Description and Requirements), and this RFP.
The Successful Proponent will work with BC Housing, the project architect, construction contractor and external stakeholders including the Operator to assist with obtaining the required municipal approvals (Rezoning, Development Permit, Building Permit, Subdivision Permit, etc.), the design and development of the project to full completion, and negotiating a construction contract, supposedly the CCDC 5B-2010 Construction Management Contract – For Services and Construction, Stipulated Price Agreement supplemented with BC Housing Supplementary General Conditions (SGCs).
All works shall meet the requirements of BC Housing Design Guidelines and Construction Standards 2019, and BC Housing Building Commissioning Guidelines 2019 set out in Appendix 8 (Contract). A concurrent procurement of architectural services and Owner’s Representative/Payment Certifier services is currently underway for this project.
