Roadway Markings

Westbank First Nation ("WFN") is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents ("Proponents") in response to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") for the provision of Services (as defined herein) to be carried out within the required schedule set out herein for the Road Marking services (the "Project").
WFN is seeking to enter into a service agreement for line painting services encompassing approximately 40km of paved roads. The scope includes an initial starting point of line paint application for all selected WFN roads, with subsequent reapplications every two to three years thereafter. These first two years will serve as a monitoring and performance evaluation phase that will highlight what types of materials work best and how often reapplication will be needed to develop an annual Line Painting Program. The Contractor shall provide quarterly assessment reports along with recommendations to WFN. The quarterly reports will document the extent of wear and the performance of each area. The initial Service Agreement will be for a two year period, with the option for three (3) additional terms of 1 year each, taken at the sole discretion of WFN.
