F136-00RFP - Prime Consulting Services: Lions Gate Hospital Master Plan

Vancouver Coastal Health (the “Authority”) has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified consultants to undertake the services described in Appendix ‘A’ to this RFP (the “Services”) with respect to the Lions Gate Hospital Master Plan project (the “Project”).The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor and an environmental consultant if required.Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, clinical planner, and functional planning.More information about the Project and the Services is set out in Appendix ‘A’.
Pre-qualified Architectural and Engineering Consultants:
Only architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for Acute Care Projects greater than $5M are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm that is not prequalified for Acute Care Projects greater than $5M.
Proponents proposing to use Sub-Consultants for the following disciplines should use firms that are included on the Authority’s pre-qualified list of engineers (pre-qualified for any fee category): • clinical service planning; • functional programming; • mechanical; • electrical; • structural; • civil.
