Support & Analysis for Provincial Highway Network

This Request for Proposals (RFP) involves the provision of as and when services required to carry out a variety of tasks including analysis of the Ministry’s hard surfaced highway network. The assignment requires an Engineering Consulting Firm with advanced knowledge and extensive experience in the specialized fields of Asset Management, Pavement Design, Pavement Surface Condition Evaluation, the use of Pavement Management Systems, and the development of network level resurfacing Funding Needs Analyses.
The analysis could include, but are not limited to, carrying out a multi-year Network Level Rehabilitation Funding Needs Analysis (FNA) for resurfacing the Provincial numbered and unnumbered highway systems, or updating related information using the Ministry’s existing data. The contractor may also be required to summarize Provincial inventory and current network condition data, refine and utilize Ministry supplied cost estimates for resurfacing by treatment type, develop and calibrate pavement deterioration models, and evaluate different investment options.
