RFP0659 School Lunch Programs

This RFP is an invitation by The Board of Education of School District No. 42 (Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows), the “Board” to invite proponents to submit proposals for the provision of school lunch services. The service provider will be expected to prepare and deliver lunches to elementary schools. It is anticipated the term of this contract will be from September 1, 2023, through to August 31, 2024. The Board may extend the contract for up to four additional years, consisting of one-year or two-year extension terms (up to a total of 5 years), by giving written notice of an intent to do so not less than 90 days prior to the commencement of any extension term. The Board meets the learning needs of approximately 16,000 students of all ages in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Our school district has close to 2,500 employees and includes six secondary schools, and 21 elementary schools. We have developed numerous skilled trades training partnerships with colleges and universities, and are committed to educational choice and an inclusive, local approach to special education.
