Description
BC Parks owns a property at Mile 463 on the Alaska Highway, within Muncho Lake Park. The property has formerly been operated as the Muncho Lake RV Park and historically as a gas station and maintenance shop. BC Parks has recently completed the following assessments and on the ground work:
The proponent will be required to assemble a team that includes the following expertise:
- Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) and recommendations, 2022.
- Stage 1 PSI Follow-up, including removal/disposal of underground fuel tanks and confirmatory soil sampling, 2023.
- Hazardous Building Materials Assessment, 2023.
The proponent will be required to assemble a team that includes the following expertise:

- Qualified Professional (QP) with expertise in contaminated sites legislation to manage the environmental assessment portion of the scope of work,
- licensed hazardous materials abatement specialist to manage hazardous materials prior to demolition of the buildings, and,
- building demolition and excavation work.
Durée du contrat
La durée estimée du contrat sera de 8 mois.
