Owner: Corporation of the Village of McBride
The Corporation of the Village of McBride invites tenders for the Fire Hall Watermain Extension along
Robson Road and the SW Frontage Road. The major work components for this project includes:
- Installation of watermain extension and fire hydrant with all associated testing, tie-in, and road/sidewalk reinstatement works
- Removal of existing culvert and installations of new HDPE culvert with all associated ditching, and road/sidewalk reinstatement works
- After receipt of Notice of Acceptance, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a Performance Bond for fifty (50%) percent of the CONTRACT PRICE and the Performance Bond shall remain in effect for the duration of construction and the Guarantee Period. After receipt of Notice of Acceptance, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a Labour and Material Payment Bond for fifty (50%) percent of the CONTRACT PRICE. The Labour and Materials Bond shall specify as eligible claimants those who have a direct contract with the principal or with any SUBCONTRACTOR of the Principal.
Tenders must:
- be submitted in a sealed envelope
- indicate the Project No. and Contract Title as: “Project # 403-GEN: Fire Hall Watermain Extension”
- be addressed to Attn: Sandra Salt
- be received at the Village of McBride office at Box 519 100 Robson Centre 855 SW Frontage Road, McBride, BC, V0J 2E0 by no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, July 17, 2023.
