Case Worker Services

The Province invites interested individuals and firms able to provide Case Worker Services in one or more areas of British Columbia, often at short notice, to submit Responses to qualify for a Corporate Supply Arrangement – Closed Framework with the Province, on substantially the terms and conditions set out in Schedule A.

The scope of this opportunity includes providing Case Worker Services related to the recovery phase of emergency management; in particular, individualized services that support the health, safety and well-being of impacted people recovering from an emergency. For a full description of the Case Worker Services, please refer to section 5 (Scope) of this RCSA, section 6 (Requirements) of this RCSA, Schedule B: Response Template and Appendix A: Contract Form.

The purchasers will have a need for the Services on an as, if and when requested basis. Service providers with experience providing the Services, and the ability to provide the Services throughout British Columbia, are encouraged to apply. Due to the need to service the entire Province and be able to respond to both small and more complex emergencies, the Ministry is seeking a wide range of service providers and invites all qualified service providers to respond. The number of Case Workers that may be required in response to a particular emergency will depend on the size and impact of the emergency and the impacted community’s Recovery Plan.

Only Purchasers that are either a Ministry or are on the Province’s list of eligible Purchasers and that have the legal capacity to contract can purchase Services under the resulting CSA.

CSAs for a term of one year (with the option of up to three one-year extensions at the Province’s discretion) and any resulting Orders for the Services will be entered into with successful Respondents. Purchasers reserve the right to confirm the experience and qualifications of subcontractors proposed to deliver the Services before an Order is executed.

The Province is seeking to qualify Respondents under this RCSA to enter a Corporate Supply Arrangement – Closed Framework with the Province, which will govern access to Services, as described in section 4 of this RCSA.
