REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”) Services, repairs and annual load bank testing (“LBT”) of the City of Surrey’s emergency standby generators and associated equipment and any other requirements.
The City does not guarantee any number of emergency standby generators will require Services and may increase or decrease the number of emergency standby generators requiring Service during the Term.
The City has approximately 75 emergency standby generators located throughout the City. Some of the generators are located at City buildings, Fire Halls, and pump stations where they provide emergency backup power in the event of a power loss.
Generators at Fire Halls will have PM inspections annually at the time of load bank testing.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
