Vehicle Exhaust and Removal and Filtering Systems

1.            Sourcewell and Canoe are seeking proposals for Vehicle Exhaust Removal and Filtering Systems designed to eliminate or reduce exhaust, pollutants, toxins, and other contaminants generated in garages, vehicle/apparatus bays, fleet settings, and attached buildings, including but not limited to:Direct exhaust capture systems for vehicles, such as: Overhead rail and hose systems; Boom Arm systems; Portable exhaust removal units; In-ground and underfloor systems; and, Vehicle-mounted systems. Garage ventilation systems, such as: ventilation and make-up air systems. Installation, maintenance, and scheduled services directly related and complementary to their offerings in 1. a - b. above. Proposers can include equipment, accessories, supplies, parts, and services directly related and complementary to their offerings in 1. a - c. above.
2.           Systems intended for other uses such as woodworking, fabrication, agricultural, etc. are allowed as long as the responders primary offerings are Vehicle Exhaust Removal and Air Filtering Systems in 1. a. - c. above.
3.           This solicitation does not include the equipment, products, or services covered under categories included in pending or planned Sourcewell solicitations, or in master agreements currently maintained by Sourcewell, identified below:HVAC Systems and Related Services (RFP #080824); and Facility MRO, Industrial, and Building Related Supplies and Equipment (RFP #091422).
4.     The term of any resulting contract(s) awarded by Sourcewell under this solicitation will be four years. Sourcewell and supplier may agree to up to three additional one-year extensions based on the best interests of Sourcewell and its Participating Entities. Sourcewell retains the right to consider additional extensions beyond seven years as required under exceptional circumstances.
5.           A full copy of the Request for Proposals can be found on the Sourcewell Procurement Portal (https://proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov).  Only proposals submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal will be considered. Proposer’s complete proposal must be submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal no later than the date and time specified in the Solicitation Schedule. Any other form of proposal submission, whether electronic, paper, or otherwise, will not be considered by Sourcewell. Only complete proposals that are timely submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal will be considered. Late proposals will not be considered. It is the Proposer’s sole responsibility to ensure that the proposal is received on time.
6.            Following submission of proposals, negotiations may be permitted.
