Notice of Anticipated Procurement Opportunity – Primary Effluent (PE) Channel

The intent of this notice is to provide preliminary information regarding an upcoming Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) that EPCOR Water Services Inc. (“EPCOR”) anticipates to publicly post in late Q4 of 2022 or early Q1 of 2023. Due to the requirement of high collaboration amongst a large project team this NRFP is anticipated to result in an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Contract consisting of the following Contractors to be known collectively as the “IPD Project Team”: Lead Consultant; Electrical Engineer; Mechanical Engineer; Civil Engineer; Structural Engineer; General Contractor; Electrical Contractor; Mechanical Contractor; and Concrete Contractor. The discipline specific consultant and trade scopes may be included in the lead consultant and general contractor scope of work depending on tender results. Eligible contractors are encouraged to bid on all relevant roles. Requirement Summary: At Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), EPCOR Water Services Inc. (EWSI) is in the process of reviewing several long-term capital improvement projects to meet various future demands and regulatory changes. One such project identified for upgrades is the Primary Effluent (PE) channels. At present, the preliminary plan for the PE Channel upgrades involves five (5) phases as follows: i) Bypass Chamber; ii) Channel east of the Bypass Chamber; iii) PE Channel Confluence Chamber; iv) Channels between the Confluence Chamber and the Bypass Chamber; and v) Future new PE Channel.
