Customer Relationship Management System

The implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system has been identified as a critical prerequisite for supporting MacEwan University’s strategic enrolment management and relationship management efforts, and for supporting ongoing institutional sustainability. The requirements identified within this NRFP were obtained through consultations and surveys involving various stakeholders across the institution. Needs are presented as objectives from a business perspective, followed by a description of required functionality and related technical considerations. More details aligning the purpose of the requested functions with the desired objectives. It is intended to help proponents identify and propose similar or superior functionality, and for evaluators to assess whether proposed functions can help achieve similar objectives. Details are also provided on requirements related to integrating the CRM system with the university's current infrastructure. While the focus is kept primarily on supporting the learner and the optimization of related processes, the proponent is reminded that many stakeholders including parents, guardians, sponsors, domestic and international recruitment partners, institutional partners, employers, government departments and industry partners contribute to student success. The proposed solution must effectively represent and integrate interactions with all such parties.
