The Hinton Alberta Golf Course (HGC) is a picturesque 18-hole golf course set in the heart of Alberta's stunning natural landscape. Covering a distance of 6,436 yards with a par-71 layout, this public course provides breathtaking views and a moderately challenging design. The Hinton Golf Course is located on both Town-owned and Crown Lease land.
Nestled within the Town of Hinton, about 15 minutes away from Jasper National Park, the HGC offers a serene escape into nature. The course is thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding boreal forest, providing players with a tranquil environment where sightings of local wildlife are common.
The Hinton Golf Course has driving and practice facilities, making it a perfect destination for golfers of all skill levels. The clubhouse enhances the experience with its range of amenities. It features a pro shop, a welcoming restaurant, and a spacious patio that offers stunning views of the mountain and hole 18. Additionally, the clubhouse includes versatile event rental spaces, making it an ideal venue for gatherings, from corporate events to celebratory occasions.
The number of yearly rounds for the last 3 years at the Hinton Golf Course are: 17,449 in 2022, 16,036 in 2023 and 16,200 expected by the end of the 2024 season.
In consultation with the Town, the successful proponent (Contractor) will supply Professional Golf Operations and Management Services, Pro Shop retail services and Food and Beverage Services over the term of the contract while meeting the Town’s specifications. Proponents may propose expanded or enhanced products or services as part of their proposal.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is open to all potential partnership models and encourages proponents to propose a model that provides value to both the proponent, the Town and the community. Further requirements are identified in the Part 2 - Evaluation Criteria.
The Town of Hinton will provide the following “as is”: (Itemized asset list attached in Appendix B)
• 18-hole golf course
• Buildings and equipment
• Kitchen space and equipment
• All existing inventory & consumables (itemized list can be provided during contract negotiation).
Durée du contrat
La durée estimée du contrat sera de 36 mois, avec une date de début proposée du 2025/04/01.
