City of Beaumont - Request for Proposal - Safety Codes Services

Beaumont is seeking a multi-disciplinary safety codes services team to provide electrical, plumbing and gas inspection and enforcement services on a regular basis. Beaumont currently employs three full-time building safety codes officers: a certified Level 1 officer, and two certified Level III and 1 fire safety codes officer. In this regard, we are looking to supplement our full-time staff during periods of high volume and unexpected absences, and to assist with vacation and other absence scheduling. The successful Proponent will have the requisite resources, knowledge and expertise to provide services in accordance with Beaumont’s Quality Management Plan. Your organization is hereby invited to submit a proposal for the provision of Safety Codes Services in the Electrical, Plumbing and Gas disciplines to Beaumont, as detailed in this Request for Proposal. Beaumont may also require the services in the Building and Fire discipline on a casual or as needed basis and this should be included in your proposal. Description: Safety Codes Services in the Electrical, Plumbing and Gas Disciplines; as well, Beaumont will also require the services of a Building SCO on an “as needed” basis.
