Calgary Board of Education - Request for Proposal - Calgary Board of Education (CBE) Online Engagement Platform

The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) is the largest school board in Western Canada with more than 138,000 students in over 250 schools. More than 15,000 employees work together for student success. It’s important that the CBE connect and collaborate with various groups and communities on an ongoing basis in support of student learning. CBE engagement activities are guided by the Dialogue Framework and most often consist of a combination of in-person/virtual and online engagement opportunities to maximize reach and inclusivity. In providing online opportunities, it’s helpful to be able to provide different ways to present information and gather perspectives rather than relying solely on surveys. It would be ideal to have an online engagement platform that provides access to users from all CBE schools and service units. This would mean having multiple accounts (300+) within the tool/platform with user access set by each account while also allowing a smaller number of users to have full administrator access to all accounts. However, optimal functionality is most important and other smaller structures or models may be considered to attain the functionality that best meets our needs. The CBE is seeking proposals/quotes from online engagement providers with functionality that supports crowdsourcing, ideation and surveying. Detailed must-have and nice-to-have features and functionality are outlined on the following pages. This functionality is needed for a variety of engagement activities that may be system-wide, service unit-specific or school-based.
