The Good Samaritan Society (A Lutheran Social Service Organization) - Request for Proposal - Prime Architectural Services

The Good Samaritan Society (A Lutheran Social Service Organization) (“GSS”) invites Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Prime Consultant Services in support of the proposed Good Samaritan West Village. • Stage 1 – Request for Proposal written response – involves detailed evaluation and ranking of the written RFP submission. A short list of Proponents will advance to Stage 2. • Stage 2 – Interview – if determined necessary or desirable by GSS in its sole discretion, involves interviews with those Proponents who have successfully advanced beyond Stage 1. d) The facility will be comprised of a four-storey non-combustible building, will be classified as a B2 Treatment Occupancy (NBC 2019 AB Ed.) and will be approximately 35,000m2. The facility will consist of twenty (20) Households, each containing fourteen (14) all private, fully accessible rooms 32.5 m2 in size. Each Household will contain spaces for activities of daily living and dining, residential style servery kitchen, multi-purpose/activity room, lounge area and access to an outdoor amenity space. The Households are paired, forming a Neighborhood of 28 residents, and sharing additional support services (utility rooms, medication room, storage). Four of the Neighborhoods will be specifically designed for dementia residents with access to secure outdoor amenity spaces.
