Town of High River - Request for Proposal - Recycling Depot Services

The High River Recycling Depot is a fenced off location adjacent to the Public Works shop located at 640, 7 St. NW. because we do not have curbside recycling pickup, the Town Council has made it a priority to provide a high level of service related to Recycling for the residents of High River. This RFP is to cover services required by the Town to achieve these standards. All decisions on deployment and level of service required by the Contactor will be as directed by the Manager of Public Works, or their designate. Scope of the Services There are nine bins within the Work Site Area that are to be picked up, delivered to the Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and returned to the Recycling Depot in accordance with the performance standards outlined below. These bins within the Recycling Depot consist of the following: • Eight (8) – 30 cubic yard Lidded Roll-Off Bins; and • One (1) – 30 cubic yard Compactor Bin. Site(s) of the Services High River Recycling Depot located at 640 – 7th St. NW, High River, AB Standards of the Services Performance Standards for the duration of this Agreement are defined as follows: • The Contractor shall supply the Town a monthly Material Activity Report from the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) with the materials listed in the Pricing Proposal that the Town of High River is recycling. • The contractor shall be available to pick up bins 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on an On-Call basis. • The Contractor shall provide the Town a contact name(s) and telephone number(s) that is to be called, no later than 2 p.m., on Weekdays to book bin pickups for the next day. • The contractor will have number(s) and contact information and or email, with which the Town can use on Weekends to book loads for pick up on the First workday of the week.
