Micro Grant for Rural Economic Development

The project will include (but not necessarily be limited to) the following deliverables:  A scope of eligible project types.  Creation and administration of a grant application process.  An application ranking and selection rubric or methodology.  Reporting and accountability mechanisms which will be used by grant recipients throughout their project.  Ongoing administrative support for grant recipients with questions or issues related to meeting timelines, reporting, etc.  Post-project survey for grant recipients to demonstrate the effectiveness of the micro-grant program and need for the continued delivery of such a grant. Alternative deliverables and approaches will be considered as well. Although the successful proponent will lead the development and administration of the grant program, RMA is accountable for reporting on the success of the program to the Government of Alberta. Therefore, RMA will be involved throughout the process and provide input into the development of all deliverables listed above, as well as in reviewing and selecting grant recipients.
