RFP FOR PROVISION OF 3 NEW UTVS & 1 RETROFIT

THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE DISTRICT OF GUYSBOROUGH IS SEEKING THE PROVISION OF THREE (3) NEW UTV WILDLAND/RESCUE UNITS EQUIPPED AND ONE (1) ADDITIONAL WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING SKID TO RETROFIT EXISTING UTV. The Municipality of the District of Guysborough invites bids for the purchase of three (3) New Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV’s) equipped with Wildland Firefighting Skid, with one (1) wildland firefighting skid to be installed on an existing UTV, for a total of four (4) wildland firefighting UTV skids. Proposal Documents shall be requested from the undersigned via fax or email in PDF format. Electronic proposals are to be titled “Company Name, Firefighting UTV-MODG” and emailed to tenders@modg.ca. Sealed proposals plainly marked “Firefighting UTV- MODG” will be received at the office of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, 33 Pleasant Street, Guysborough. Until 2:00pm, Friday May 15th, 2026. Opening immediately after closing. Proposals that are considered informal, unbalanced or not in accordance with any aspect of the Proposal Documents may be rejected. The Municipality of the District of Guysborough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, not necessarily accept the lowest proposal, or to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the Municipality. The Municipality of the District of Guysborough further reserves the right to waive formality, informality, or technicality in any proposal.
