Notice is hereby given that Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide a Natural Language Analytics Tool for a term of three (3) years at an estimated value of $ 302,400.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority, has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
Rational
The ThoughtSpot solution is the only product with natural language analytics capability. This capability provides Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCHA) users the self-serve ability to search for answers in various data sets without a requirement for a technical resource.
The tool provides the following unique functionalities which are required by VCH to meet its requirements:

PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.

The ThoughtSpot solution is the only product with natural language analytics capability. This capability provides Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCHA) users the self-serve ability to search for answers in various data sets without a requirement for a technical resource.
The tool provides the following unique functionalities which are required by VCH to meet its requirements:
- Machine learning algorithms respond as per user behavior, security rules, and metadata to tailor recommendations for individual users.
- Search Assist’s in-context coaching train users through simple search scenarios.
- Intelligent query engine analyses billions of rows of complex data structures swiftly.
- Answer Explainer provides lineage and data catalog details to explain how answers were created.
