This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly solely for the purposes of openness and transparency. Only the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below may participate in the bidding process and attend the mandatory site visit. Subcontractors or Trades who are interested in participating in the project may connect with the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below.

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:
Date: Friday, July 21, 2023
Time: 10:30 am PT
Location of Site Meeting: Tellier Tower, 16 East Hastings Street, Vancouver
Subcontractor Attendance is Mandatory
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
The work includes structural repair and existing concrete wall repair at the Tellier Tower East elevation and the application of elastomeric coating at the Oasis West elevation and as further set out at Appendices:
BC Housing is looking for a contractor to perform the building envelope repair/ reinforcement work at two buildings. Tellier Tower and the Oasis. Tellier Tower is located on 16 East Hastings Street and the Oasis is located on 40 East Hastings Street in Vancouver. The two buildings are separated by the Downtown East Side Market which will be vacant by end of August 2023. Work is to be anticipated to start in September 2023 and be completed by December 2023. Building permit is anticipated to be issued prior to construction start.
