Description
The Ministry of Forests invites interested parties to submit responses for the provision of shirts, pants, softshell jackets, hardshell jackets, and soft body armour on an as, if and when requested basis, to be offered through a Standing Arrangement between the successful Respondent(s) and the Province. The uniform style is required to identify Natural Resource Officers (NRO’s) of the Compliance and Enforcement Branch, as officials and as a person of authority. The NRO uniform will aid in distinguishing between various law enforcement agencies such as police and conservation officers. Uniform Items are to be provided on an as, if, and when requested basis and no representations, commitments or guarantees are made with respect to the timing, number or value of Orders that may be requested from the Contractor over the term. A Standing Arrangement established pursuant to this RSA does not confer an exclusive right to provide Uniform Items to the Province. The Province reserves the right to procure Uniform Items by any other means, including use of other agreements, or by other procurement or contracting methods.

The Province intends to enter into one Standing Arrangement per Uniform Category with the highest scoring Respondent who meets all mandatory criteria and minimum scores, and who passes the samples verification. The anticipated term of the Contract is two years with the option to extend in the sole discretion of the Ministry discretion for three additional terms of up to one year for a maximum Contract term of five years.
