12110 Progressive Design Build Operations Building Expansion Glenmore Landfill

The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals for a progressive design-build of a 9m wide x 16.5m deep pre-fabricated industrial steel frame building expansion of an existing engineered steel building. The existing building is an enclosed and insulated steel structure from Varco Prudent Buildings with a Firestone TPO membrane roof. The non-enclosed addition shall tie into the left (South) side of existing building and provide open air storage for heavy equipment utilized at the Landfill. The ground improvement and foundation for the expansion was completed as part of the first phase. Within the footprint of the expansion, a compacted gravel pad has been completed. Hard surfacing of this pad is not required. Project to be delivered in two phases: 1) Pre-Construction Phase; 2) Final Design and Construction Phase
