Description
This RFP is an invitation by the City to qualified and experienced Contractors to submit Proposals for
Residential Curbside Collection and Disposal Services (the Services), made up of residential curbside
garbage, organics and recycling material collection and disposal, for a period of five (5) years. The
anticipated start date for the Agreement is August 1, 2023, but the actual start date will be dependent on
external factors such as collection cart manufacturing, assembly, and distribution. The City currently
collects garbage bi-weekly, recycling bi-weekly and yard waste seasonally. Commencing with this
Agreement, the City will expand organics collection from the current seasonal yard waste collection to
implement scheduled collection of co-mingled food and yard waste weekly.
