Description
Due to the devastating wildfires of 2021 and the loss of housing the BC Wildfire Service (“BCWS”) of the Ministry of Forests is seeking proposals from vendors to supply, install, and decommission temporary accommodations after use for a minimum of 24 people in Lytton, British Columbia with the camp being ready for occupancy by April 17, 2023 or sooner. The camp accommodations should be a minimum of six (6) rental modular trailers, not exceeding 73 feet in length, and include sleeping accommodations, showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, kitchen, dining, and lounge facilities.
The anticipated term of the Contract is from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, with a possible option to renew for an additional two (2), one-year terms, pending funding.
BCWS is open to various configurations and will entertain slightly less or more rooms depending on the modules proposed by the Proponents. Proponents are encouraged to submit more than one proposal if they have various options that they would like BCWS to consider.
The Province intends to enter into a contract with the highest scoring Proponent who meets all mandatory criteria and whose proposal passes the requirements.
