Town of Whitecourt - Request for Proposal - RFP 01-2024-43-01: Collection of Solid Waste and Recyclables from Town of Whitecourt Facilities

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals to provide the Town of Whitecourt with services including: a) Collection services, which include collection of Solid Waste and Recyclables from 9 Town of Whitecourt Facilities; b) Bin rental of nine 4-yard bins and two 2-yard bins for the collection of solid waste, including supply, placement, and maintenance of all bins; and c) Collection and processing of blue bag recycling, flattened card board, and other large recyclables not bagged. Through the RFP process, the Town of Whitecourt is seeking to enter into a long-term contract for the Services with an experience, qualified contractor to properly perform the services in a cost effective manner. Proponents are also encouraged to include creative solutions or innovations their firm provides that may enhance services and/or waste diversion.
