Diversity and Beyond is founded by Rekha Verma. Rekha is an immigrant and settler in Canada. In a short time, after moving from New Delhi, she led Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at EY Canada - Winner of Canada's Best Diversity Employer Awards for seven years in a row. During her leadership, she worked closely with the EDI committee and developed a multi-year diversity strategy, and outcome-based action plans that resulted in significant accomplishments. Rekha also led Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Johnson and Johnson group of companies in Canada. Today, Diversity and Beyond Inc. is the go-to consulting firm for data-based and insights-driven DEI mandates and initiatives. These include EDI Audits, Focus Group Discussions conducted in safe spaces, Count me in surveys, Foundational as well as immersive EDI training programs, policies, and programs, as well as embedding EDI principles in HR and business systems and processes, including integrating these with change management frameworks, communication, marketing, etc.
