Lake sediment & water sampling for baseline and exploration

Consulting Geochemist providing lake sediment geochemical services for baseline geochemical and mineral exploration and environmental studies. I am an accredited Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo with Professional Geoscientists of Ontario) with extensive lake sediment and lake water geochemical expertise. I have significant experience as a government geoscientist and Consulting Geochemist, carrying out regional lake sediment geochemistry field projects (including project design, logistics, field work, sample preparation/preservation, liaising with laboratories, data integration, interpretation and report writing) and desktop studies of existing lake sediment and water geochemical datasets, within various jurisdictions across Canada, including Labrador, Quebec, British Columbia, North West Territories, Nunavut, Ontario and Yukon. Within Nunavut in particular, I completed a helicopter supported lake sediment geochemical survey over an area of approximately 11,500 km2, resulting in the collection of 1750 samples, centered over the Amaruq and Meadowbank areas. As a Geochemist with the Ontario Geological Survey for 20+ years, I carried out 20 regional lake sediment and water surveys across Ontario, covering over 50,000 sq km and collected over 20,000 water and lake bottom sediments. This project work has been documented in over 40 published technical reports and digital datasets.
