Lux Modus is a 3D mapping technology company focused on enabling customers to capture 3D of their affordably and at scale; and then to allow for advanced analysis using AI and other tools. Unlike most sensor integrators, our core business is processing, organizing, and analyzing data at scale.By creating an easy-to-use collection platform that can be mounted onto any type of vehicle - and by ensuring it is ruggedized, easy to use, and affordable - we have reached our goal of democratizing 3D mapping: it can be used by anyone, anywhere, at any time. We created Lux Modus because the world needs 3D maps for to manage the world’s critical infrastructure and enable governments with affordable 3D mapping at scale. The Lux Modus business model is a Hardware Enabled Software-as-a-Service (HeSaaS) business model with data processing. We have two core products and services which mutually support each other: LuxGear, the ruggedized, easy-to-use and low-cost remote sensing platform (hardware) that mounts to a vehicle and collects high resolution LiDAR scans and imagery; and LuxWeb processing (software) environment which turns raw data from LuxGear into usable 3D data and serves as a viewing and data manipulation platform. Users can also import other third-party 3D data into LuxWeb and layer it into the map of the asset. Our third offering is geospatial project management and value-added services.
