RFP #  A0480-172881/A is issued under the framework of the Professional Audit Support Services Supply Arrangement (PASS-SA),

This requirement is for auditing services on behalf of both the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) and Health Canada. The Audit services objective is to ensure that the recipient departments met the terms and conditions of the funding arrangements and had put in place high quality management and control practices in order to ensure effective delivery of programs/services activities funded.

In addition to the delivery of audits services, the Contractor may be called upon, on an ad-hoc basis, to assist DIAND and HC with the development and/or validation of Recipient Audit methodologies or studies to meet the requirements of Policy/Directives of the Treasury Board on Transfer Payments.

The requirement described in this RFP is open to pre-qualified suppliers for Stream 8 (Recipient/Contribution Agreement Audit) of the Professional Audit Support Services Supply Arrangement (PASS SA).

The Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly to the pre-qualified suppliers above mentioned, who are invited to bid on this requirement.

Description of the Requirement:

Canada seeks to establish contracts for Auditing Services within the framework  of the Professional Audit Support Services Supply Arrangement (PASS SA) to be provided for one (1) year firm and four (4) additional option periods of one (1) year each for the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development(DIAND) and Health Canada.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
