Temporary IT Personnel Services for Expertise in the Development of an Energy Management Information

The Town of Bridgewater (“the Town”) is seeking to establish a standing offer of Companies (“Proponent(s)”) with specific areas of expertise to provide temporary personnel services for contract positions supporting Data and Internet of Things (IoT) projects based in the Azure Cloud for multiple initiatives in the home energy management domain. The Town would like to engage with Proponent(s) that have a Canadian office and do global sourcing of expertise to provide cost effective technical resources on demand. The software development work is targeted towards building a suite of products for a home Energy Management Information System (EMIS) in the Town of Bridgewater, NS, Canada. The Town’s concept for a community EMIS includes sensors, a network to transfer data, data storage management and analytics, and dashboards to display data to residents and energy managers. The energy analytics work is to support the determination of the appropriate sensors and advise on the data architecture and analysis functions of the EMIS.
