Full Title: Professional Consulting Services for Discharge Meter Upgrades at the In-Town Pumping Stations

D9.          SCOPE OF SERVICES

D9.1        The Services required under this Contract generally consist of consulting engineering 
design and contract administration services to facilitate the replacement of the existing treated 
water production meters and addition of secondary flow meters at the RPSs in accordance with the 
following:
(a)   Project Management in accordance with D10;
(b)   Detailed Design and Tender in accordance with D11;

(c)    Non-Resident Services in accordance with D12;
(d)   Resident Services in accordance with D13;
(e)   Commissioning Services in accordance with D14;
(f)    Record Drawings in accordance with D15; and
(g)   Post Construction Services in accordance with D16.

D9.2        The Services required under this Contract shall be in accordance with the City’s 
Project Management Manual http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management-program/templates- 
manuals.stm#2  and templates http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management- 
program/templates-manuals.stm#4 . Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consultant is being engaged by 
the City for their professional expertise; the Consultant shall bring to the Consulting Contract 
Administrator’s attention any aspect of the City’s Project Management Manual or templates which the 
Consultant is of the opinion is not consistent with good industry practice.

D9.3        Unless otherwise stated, Appendix A – Definition of Professional Consultant Services 
(Consulting Engineering Services) shall be applicable to the provision of Professional Engineering 
services for this Project. These services are specific to design and contract administration 
services.
(a)   If a discrepancy occurs between the main body of this RFP and Appendix A, the main body of 
this RFP shall govern.

D9.4        The funds available for this Contract are $520,000.
